| MONTROY MASANA ORIGIN:
Red wines of high grading, for the varieties Garnatxa and Carinyena both grown in the inland valleys of Catalonia as in El Priorat and Terra Alta.
AGEING:
Six month in bottles exposed to the sun, two years in barrels reared according to the method of "soleras" (older wine for blending) and two years in large barrels.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Mellow semi-sweet, intense and mature bouquet. Ochre and autumnal red colour, persistent in your palate.
TRADITION:
Elaborated since 1900 when the cellar was founded, this wine was essential, since the beginning, in the traditional catalan diet, consisting of "BREAD WINE AND SUGAR".
RANCI REIAL (Royal Mellow)
ORIGIN:
100% Garnatxa form very sunny vineyards in Priorat and Tarragonès that produce strong wines of high natural grading..
AGEING:
Once the process of "Sunstroke" is finished, it remains in American oak casks during a minimum period of 4 years, then it is kept for one year in vats for its bouquet.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Dry mellow, balanced taste and bouquet, without astringencies due to its strong ageing in the "SUNSTROKE" and the slow process in wood.
MISTELA
Identical process of elaboration as MUSCATEL, but beginning the process with other varieties of grapes such as the Perellada, Macabeu or white Garnatxa. Its deeper bouquet differs form Muscatel.
